Increase Your Energy Level

 

We all know that when things aren’t going smoothly that we feel drained. Those feelings of disappointment, frustration, and fear multiply much faster than uplifting emotions.

How many times have you heard yourself or someone else say, “I am having a streak of bad luck.”? Was it really a streak that is random or were the few negative emotions multiplying and creating more tension and stress?

The truth is that many times it is how we perceive the first few negatives and dwelling on them that will lead us into making mistakes or drawing more negative energy into our lives. When we allow the little things to have control over us, they not only add to each other but multiply and affect other things in our lives which then causes us to have more problems.

Learning to take control of the small things avoids many of the larger ones in the future. I am not saying it will relieve all of them because sometimes things are beyond our control, but little things that we can control should be controlled.

Some of the things that will help you maintain control of the little things in life are:

1. Diet and exercise – Yes, these are very important. When we eat right and exercise, we help our bodies and we create a sense of well-being which raises your ability to re-focus when problems arise.

2. Eliminate energy drainers – If someone is taking and not giving in a relationship, telling you that you are wrong, making you feel inadequate, or badgering you about doing something that is not inline with your goals – they are an energy drain. Doing this is not a choice sometimes if the person is a family member. The choices of who is an energy gainer in your life by always being uplifting and believing in you and those that are not is up to you and how you should handle each individual. If they are people that only affect your life on a regular basis but hold no real value to you, then maybe it is time to tell them to find someone else that they approve of and take back control of your life.

3. Work and Focus – It is very necessary to remain focused when we are working towards our goals, but trying to do this on a 24/7 basis will lead to burn out and frustration as well as put us at risk of becoming ill. Focus means to work to the best of our ability when we are working. It does not mean that we should wear blinders and only see the job and forget the rest of life. Taking breaks, getting up and stretching or walking, maybe even a snack or doing a bit of gardening or relaxing with the television or turning on the radio and singing. Anything that brings pleasure and happiness is recommended. Focus on work for an hour or two (not more), then take a break for 10 minutes to 1/2 hour. Limit the time for the break so that you do not use it to procrastinate about returning to work and focus again on the task at hand when you do return to work.

4. Refocus often – Changing to a different task that will still move you forward is a good idea. Make a list of tasks that will allow you to reach your goal. Work for one session on one and then on another during the next session. When you look back at your accomplishments, do not tell yourself things like “I didn’t complete the task”. Instead tell yourself “Wow, I made small strides in several things today.” Change the feeling and you change the energy from negative to positive so trying to find the positive outlook will lead to positive energy.

5. Probably the most important of all – Stop telling yourself that you can’t when you don’t reach your self-imposed deadlines. Instead accept that you didn’t reach them, assess what went wrong and then find the truthful (not always what we claim it is) reason that it went bad and work to correct that problem. Meanwhile, remember that you did make progress and that only through each step can any journey be accomplished. That means that you are a success with each simple small step.

Montoring Your Energy Level

 I thought the best way to improve personal and professional excellence is to write about it. We who are involved with internet marketing, working a full time job, raising a family and the list could go on seem to cheat ourselves with proper exercise, diet, rest and just taking time off for ourselves.

 Exercise and Relaxation

Take a little time aside and treat yourself special. Just for play and relaxation. Why? Because if you pamper yourself or even just make sure you are involved in healthy habits, your energy level will soar! Do you get out there and walk or run regularly? If you are among the wise you will probably have learned over your life; that adhering to a few good rules helps you live day to day full of energy. Without energy drinks, coffee, chocolate and all the other not so healthy ways we try to increase our energy level.

The amount of exercise you take depends on age and fitness level.  As an adult it is important to take at least 2 hours a week. Things like taking a quick walk play in a neighborhood softball game or gardening are all good ways to exercise.  If you are a fit adult then go jogging, hiking, bicycling, or swimming.  It will all prove to be helpful to your overall health. There are so many ways we can improve our energy level through the proper amount of exercise.

 Fast Food City

What we eat has a great deal to do with our Energy level. Just eating a piece of fruit instead of our most lovable snack can make a big difference. I am very guilty with going through the drive thru to purchase a baconinator. Do you eat enough raw and cooked Vegetables or are you a strictly meat and potatoes character? Trust me I am making my own check list. So to control our energy level we eliminate the quick fixes and increase proper nutrition.

 Getting the Proper Sleep

I think most of us wish there were 48 hours in a day. Some of us need more sleep than others. Do you get 6 to 8 hours sleep a night? Well I am a very heavy sleeper so I feel great with 5 or 6. You have to be the judge of that. Just remember to get the proper amount. Fighting sleep to finish a project may cause unwanted stress, fatigue, irritability etc.  Just making a few changes with exercise, diet and proper rest will make a big difference improving your energy level.

Stop The Struggle

An  Internet marketing course  is a perfect move for business starters and even for entrepreneurs considering of expanding their business online. But there are just too many courses to choose from. Too many beginners become overwhelmed, trying to learn everything too fast. They become frustrated and quit.
